Fair Maiden Calypso
In accursed lands of Ogygia,
Lived alone a fair maiden,
She's as radiant as the moonlaces she grows,
The wronged titan Calypso.
Her long, wavy caramel hair,
Caught the sun and shone like gold,
Deep melancholy in her hazel eyes,
Gone dry saying goodbye.
Punished by gods,
For the sins of time,
Now all she does us gaze at stars,
Waiting since million years, billion days and gazillion of hours
Hoping a hero shall come,
One who'll steal her heart,
One who'll be there to stay,
And someday whisk her away.
I lost her when I had my chance,
Never again did I find her
Hence in Ogygia still alone,
Lives beautiful Calypso.
