Games with Sun
It was day of games for the sun and me today,
Hide and seek mostly,
It wasn't my idea to play,
But the star today was in a jolly mood.
He didn't bother to really hide,
Peaking instead from behind charcoal clouds,
To seek him I'd need a ride,
Perhaps that he knew.
He had won without trying but wait,
God sees all,
And thus he was stuck alone in his hideout,
The sun cried tears after tears,
The clouds don't allow cheaters,
Rain touched my parched smile.
